"This luxury Edwardian hotel is brilliantly located in Knightsbridge, overlooking Hyde Park. It was most recently extensively renovated over a two-year period from 2016, but had to close in June 2018 because of a major roof fire. It has now fully reopened with a fresh look and the feeling of a new beginning"

"In the five-star London hotel game there’s luxury and then there’s the Mandarin Oriental London, whose ability to deliver the height in service while maintaining a reputation for grace and style makes it the choice of only the wealthiest guests"

"Sir Winston Churchill was a regular and apparently once offered a member of staff a cigar in return for an early breakfast. The Queen and Princess Margaret learned to dance in the hotel’s ballroom and, if you’re in a bedroom facing Hyde Park, you’re likely to wake to the sound of the Household Cavalry clip-clopping past in the morning. This has to be one of the best situated hotels in London"
